The master and the young guard
When not ripping up the Enduro circuit with his Spicy, Nicolas Vouilloz devotes time to working with the Lapierre DH Team. His year’s of expertise have helped design the Team DH bike, in use for 3 successful DH WC seasons. Equipped with the praised Pendbox technology, for 2013 it gets further upgrades to its performance. Not only does Nico work to improve the team’s bikes, he also has contributed to its members. Nicolas brought Loïc Bruni to the team in 2011.
Since then, the French Junior Champion continued to rise and realised a fantastic 2012 season! Top5 with Elite Men at the World Cup in Windham, winner of the Juniors World Cup and Junior World Champion! The young gun just took it all last season. He is now looking forward to his 1st Elite season.
Next to him, you will find again in 2013 the iconic Lapierre's "Kiwi", Sam Blenkinsop. Blenky, who already has some impressive results for his young age (3rd at the 2010 World Cup overall, 3rd at the World Championship in 2011, winner of Crankworx Garbanzo DH,) is attacking the 2013 season with a huge motivation, and already 2 victories at the New Zealand DH Cup.
With the 2 Elite men, 2 new riders in the crew for the 2013 season : in the DH women category, Emmeline Ragot will represent the Team LP International. Double World Champion (2009 and 2011), vice-champion of the World 2012, the newcomer in the Lapierre Team will do everything to get back the rainbow jersey!
Last but not least, the rookie for 2013 will be Loris Vergier, who just goes out of the Cadets category. He will only be Junior 1st year in 2013 but he already performed very well last season (Cadets French champion, Elite top5 at the DH French cup). From the pool of talent that is the U.S. Cagnes, the rookie will discover the World Cup circuit without complex!
