Enduro World Series #3 Ireland - A week-end to forget

Bad weekend for our riders from Team Lapierre Gravity Republic in Ireland. Leaders in the team standings at the start of this third round of EWS, our riders were ready to defend their positions.

Rae Morrison

Unfortunately, nothing happened as planned. Nico Vouilloz, after a 13th place in stage 1,  got a puncture in stage 2 and could not take the start of SP3 and SP4. Frustrating, especially when Nico proved he was in the pace in SP5, 6 and 7, taking the 8th, 9th and 10th places. Bad operation in the general classification… Nico is now sitting at the 14th place. But will have othere opportunities to shine, for sure.

Adrien Dailly

For Adrien Dailly, it was not better. Even if he set the best time in stage 1. He also got a puncture in stage 2 and also suffered from a hand injury. He could not finish the race.

Rae Morrison was thus the only one to finish the race and took the 8th place in the women’s category. The times are tight in women’s... And Rae showed a good consistency! The top 5 and the podium are not far ahead.

Next step for our riders: a summer full of races! It will start with the 4th round in La Thuile (Italy) during the weekend of 16 and 17 July.
