This weekend the 7th and penultimate round of the Enduro World Series, in Ainsa, Spain showed a great fight between the top contenders.
According to all the riders, this new round in Spain was incredible to ride, with amazing stages and a crazy atmosphere in the fortified town of Ainsa.
Nico Vouilloz, regular throughout the weekend, was at the front and fighting for a top spot on the podium. His results on all stages: 2nd, 8th, 11th, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 13th. In the end, he took 6th place, 3 tiny seconds off the 2nd place. Infuriating, but it proves once again that the race is so tight on the Enduro World Series.
The overall leader Richie Rude confirmed his status by winning this 7th round. Behind him: Yoann Barelli, Martin Maes, Nicolas Lau, Jared Graves and Nicolas Vouilloz, who is now 5th overall.
Adrien Dailly was attacking this round with the status of leader and already certain of winning the overall in U21! A great performance for his first season with Lapierre. All was going well in the two opening stages, until Adrien was then victim of two punctures, which cut him out of all hope of victory in this round. He still finished 4th in the U21 category and 41st within Elite riders.
