Renaud Lavillenie, Olympic champion and holder of the World Record for pole jump, rides regularly as part of his training.
Already equipped with a Lapierre Xelius for the road and a 2014 XR for MTB, Renaud Lavillenie seized the opportunity to test the new generation XR during Roc d’Azur 2016.
Renaud told us about his ride « I felt good straight away on the new XR. It’s efficient, but also fun to ride. I enjoyed myself throughout the race. I can’t wait to put it through its paces on my favourite trails! »
This Thursday, the 15th of December, he went to his local bike store, Culture Velo Cournon, to pick up his new Lapierre XR Ultimate, equipped with e:i Shock technology.
The bike is of course heeled with Michelin tyres, official sponsor of Renaud Lavillenie.
For Gilles Lapierre « it’s a bike that’s perfectly matched to Renaud’s competitive spirit, it’s the bike he needs to push himself in training and continue to shine in international competition. »
